On Wednesday night, as we were clearing a motor vehicle rollover on York St. in Lima, EAFD members were alerted for a mutual aid request to the Mendon Fire District to a barn fire on Parish Rd. Mendon Command declared a working fire and East Avon members assisted with water supply as there were no hydrants in that area of their town. The department was in service from both runs late in the evening.
