About the Commissioners
The Fire District Commissioners are comprised of five Town of Avon residents who are elected to their positions. It also includes a District Secretary and District Treasurer appointed by the Commissioners. The Commissioners meet on a monthly basis to approve bills based on the budget approved by the Town Board and taxpayers, discuss and keep up on the maintenance of the trucks, equipment, and buildings.
