Members of EAFD and Livonia EMS partnered together today to work with Livingston County Medical Director, Dr Farney and other URMC physicians to learn about basic fireground priorities & operations at a working structure fire, firefighter rehab, rendering care to a rescued victim and down firefighter. As part of the fireground operations, they discussed life safety, incident stabilization, interior vs exterior attack, search & rescue and spent time tanking water. Everyone got a chance to review PPE that firefighters don along with a demonstration of the SCBAs.
