This week, members of the East Avon Fire Department and Avon, NY Fire Department worked together to go to the Avon-based schools and daycares to provide public education on staying safe and creating a plan in case of a fire emergency. The schools and daycares were able to see our firefighters dressed up in their gear, practice safely exiting the school and ask any questions they had regarding fire prevention.
