Training on Water Supply

This week for training, EAFD members worked on methods of water supply, focusing on the most difficult part of pump operation, the transition of water source while maintaining flow from the apparatus. They specifically focused on the transition between onboard tank water and drafting (pulling water) from a static source of water and the transition between onboard tank water and a positively pressured hydrant supply (district water). These types of evolutions allow for experienced operators to work with newer ones, as many evolutions can be performed in a short period of time with critique.
