Last night EAFD visited Lakeville Fire Department’s training ground to practice FAST (Firefighter Assist Search Team) skills. EAFD is requested for FAST throughout the county for structure fires and regularly trains on their skills. Last night the members focused on patient packaging to move downed firefighters, as well as using ropes systems to simulate lifting a downed firefighter through a hole in the floor.
