Last night, members of EAFD refreshed their EMS skills through a series of stations which included a LUCAS application and management, administration of EPI, applying a tourniquet and spinal immobilization with patient packaging and movement. EAFD currently responds on all Priority 1 EMS calls in the Town of Avon. We are also called upon to assist in other districts specifically for the use of our LUCAS device which we have had in service now for over 6 years.
