In addition to calls in our district as well as Lima’s district this week, EAFD members were also kept busy helping out our neighbors several times.
On Monday night, EAFD members provided a stand-by crew covering Honeoye Falls’ district so that they could attend out of town training. During the stand-by our members took the opportunity to do training of our own, focusing on aerial ladder operations. Next week, EAFD will be doing the same for Scottsville FD covering their district.
On Tuesday afternoon, our members were alerted mutual assistance to York for a house fire on Batzing Rd. Originally assigned the FAST, Quad 276’s crew was put to work on arrival.
On Saturday, our members provided a fill-in crew along with Pittsford, Bushnell’s Basin, and Fishers Fire Departments to Rush FD while they worked a house fire on Fishell Rd.
